IT'S WORTH COMPARING AIRFARES.(TRAVEL)

Imagine buying a banana. Simple, except when the banana costs 40 cents if you buy it on Friday, 20 cents on Monday, 90 cents if you don't eat it over the weekend, 11 cents if you pay with your left hand, 75 cents if you carry it out the east door and 48 cents if you take a paper receipt. And imagine that the person in line ahead of you in the checkout line paid half the price for her banana while the guy behind you paid double.

You'd be tempted to give up bananas.
